Hello Jackson: Pour Me Some Juice

Over the past few years, many people have become interested in juicing for health benefits, but it is a long and messy process. Pour Me Some Juice takes on the work by providing delicious, raw juice blends with the nutrition that our bodies need. You won’t find many people who care more about health and nutrition than owner Tiffany Finney, who started the business because of her passion for raw food and juicing.

Pour Me Some Juice sells raw, unpasteurized juice made in a slow speed juicer and a cold juice press. Many common ailments can be healed just through proper nutrition, and Finney’s hope is to educate people on the benefits of proper nutrition and how juice can help.

“Most of us have impaired digestive systems from years of making poor food choices,” she said. “A poor digestive system limits the body’s ability to absorb all the nutrients from fruits and veggies. Juicing will help to pre-digest them for you so you will receive most of the nutrients rather than losing them. Juicing also allows you to consume an optimal amount of fruits and veggies in an efficient manner and you can also add a wider variety of fruits and veggies to your diet.”

That last statement is especially true for me! I don’t enjoy eating most vegetables, especially carrots, but I will drink them in juice. I tried the Apple Basic juice blend, which includes carrots, and loved it.

Pour Me Some Juice is available to order through www.pourmesomejuice.com, and there are several pick-up locations and delivery options to choose from. You can opt for single juices, which are great if you just want to sample them and find your favorites, or you can choose a juicing plan. The products range from a three-day all-juice detox cleanse for $165.00 to individual juices starting at $5.50. The seventeen different juice combinations have no preservatives and are not heated or pasteurized. Some of the most popular blends are Joy of Health, Citrus Zing, and Green Monster. I can’t wait to try them all!

In February of 2012, Tiffany and her husband Lowe made the decision to adopt a child and needed to develop a fundraiser for the adoption costs. Tiffany wanted to do something she was passionate about, so she began juicing raw fruits and vegetables for people in order to raise the money. That initial idea really took off and garnered enough interest for Tiffany to turn it from a hobby into Pour Me Some Juice. The Finneys have been matched with a little boy from South Korea and are currently waiting for the day when he can come home to them. Because of the origins of the business, Tiffany decided to designate ten percent of Pour Me Some Juice profits to help other adopting families bring their children home.

It is absolutely amazing how many connections Tiffany has made in the Jackson community. My relationship with her  began when I hired her to be my personal trainer over a year ago. She has since moved on from training and into juicing full-time, but she always checks up on me when I see her around Jackson. It is this kind of attention to relationships that makes Tiffany such a valuable member of the Jackson business community! She genuinely cares about each and every client—past or present. She is passionate about educating others on the amazing benefits of juicing and how raw food can heal the body.

“Pour Me Some Juice offers healthy, raw juice and juice cleanses for busy people, sick people, or anyone,” she said. “Our main goal is to offer raw, healthy juice to anyone who wants it. Juicing is a great and healthy way to get vitamins and minerals into your diet.”

I highly recommend juicing to anyone wanting to kickstart a healthy lifestyle.
