sunday JULY 31, 2022 | 2:00 - 9PM

There are few things more perfect on a summer night than live music on a front porch, and this #731Day, we're bringing back Jackson's new favorite event: #Porchfest! Enjoy FREE and family-friendly music from local musicians throughout the historic Lambuth Area Neighborhood Association area in the hospitable yards of your Jackson neighbors. Join in on the fun as long as you'd like, moving from house to house with your own lawn chair or picnic blanket and grabbing snacks from local food trucks along the route. This year we will be hosting all the stages around the block of Campbell Lake.

This year features eleven artists showcasing the best of West Tennessee music across a variety of genres, presented by Jackson: Hidden Tracks with stages sponsored by 9 local businesses.

avon park

2:10 PM | 311 Crescent Ave

Hi! We're Avon Park, a five-piece indie-rock band based out of Memphis, Tennessee! All five of us have a lifelong love of music, and find no greater joy than bringing that same love and energy to writing our own music and live performances! When it comes to our music, we like to draw inspiration from various types of artists and fuse that inspiration into our own sound, whether it be classic acts such as Grateful Dead, or more modern groups like Houndmouth. Stylistically, we like writing laidback, "vibey," songs like, "Bella," but also like kicking the energy up on songs like "Bedroom Door," both songs being the singles from our self-titled debut album released this past Spring. With four of our five members having grown up in Jackson, we can't wait to come back to our hometown for Porchfest 2022, and we look forward to seeing each, and every one of you there; it's gonna be a jam! Avon Park consists of: Adrian Gascue (keyboard), Alex Haggard (bass), Connor Bankey (guitar/vocals), Will Buehler (guitar), and Will Crowe (drums/vocals)

I’m a 24 year old Jackson native and my music is truly an expression of the things that are hard for me to say and do in real time. My music allows me to really feel and process my perspective on life, it’s reflective while still giving you something to vibe to. My only goal is to do things that terrify me and I’m using my music/voice to fuel that.
